My Why
My Why
The short: I do it because I love photography and I genuinely give a shit about preserving your memories.
The long: I was always the gal with a pink Canon Powershot attached to my wrist at a high school party, using those photos to make extensive (and cringe-worthy) Facebook albums. My parents gifted me a professional camera for Christmas in 2011. That dusty Canon Rebel DSLR camera sat on my shelf calling my name and, seemingly, taunting me for years. It came with me from Nova Scotia, to Pennsylvania, and all the way to Calgary. Until I decided to take a one-day photography course in Nanton, AB in 2016 and I built my business on that as my foundation! I vividly remember taking a photo of a flower in manual mode for the first time and having a tear stream down my face. I was hooked. I have kept falling in love with photography, people, and the process since that first day.
